The American Psychological Association (APA) has named Oklahoma State University professor Shelia Kennison a Fellow for Division 2, The Society for the Teaching of Psychology.  

“Dr. Kennison has been an innovative leader for psychology pedagogy on our campus and in our state for many years,” Thad Leffingwell, professor and head of the OSU Department of Psychology, said.  “This honor recognizes her many contributions and is well-deserved.”

Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Dr. Eric Foner will share newly discovered, detailed records of slave escapes through the Underground Railroad in a lecture at Oklahoma State University on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. in the Peggy Helmerich Browsing Room at the OSU Library.

Twenty-five alumni from Oklahoma State University’s College of Arts and Sciences were honored at the college’s inaugural Hall of Fame ceremony on Sept. 11, 2015, at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.

Twenty-four alumni from each of the college's departments were presented with the college’s Distinguished Alumni award, which recognizes alumni who attain distinctive success in their field or profession and perform outstanding service to their community. Of the 24 Distinguished Alumni, three were also inducted into the College of Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame.
