OSU Graduate Receives KIAAA Sportscaster of the Year

Oklahoma State University graduate Danilynn “Dani” Welniak was selected as the Kansas Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Sportscaster of the Year for her contributions as a KWCH sports reporter and CatchItKansas reporter.

The KIAAA recognizes athletic departments for their accomplishments in the field of athletic administration, and it also recognizes members of the media for their efforts in promoting interscholastic athletics in the state.

Welniak graduated from OSU with a double major in broadcast journalism and audio and video production with a minor in zoology. During her time at OSU, she did freelance work with ESPN, FOX Sports, the OKC Thunder and various MMA events as well as writing for the O’Colly. She joined KWCH in 2011.
